Why stupid easy? Because literally anyone can do it. In fact, I don’t know if you can even call it a recipe, it’s so easy. No peeling, no chopping, and no running to the store for fresh ingredients. If you have vegan mayonnaise, and some pantry staples, you’ve got yourself a one-way ticket to flavortown!
Sure, there are hundreds of recipes for vegan ranch dressing online, but too many of them require chopping up fresh herbs, which frankly I never have.
Fresh dill and parsley!? Who ever just has those laying around?
Running to the store to for said herbs, only to find out they cost an arm and a leg when you only need one teaspoon?
Vegan mayo (which you should always have) and some dried herbs and spices. Done.
Sweet Brown would be so proud.
Not only is it lightning fast and foolproof, it also honestly tastes 100x better than the bottled vegan ranch dressings available in stores.
Plus, you can adjust the recipe to suit your needs. Go with a little less water for a thicker dip, or a little more water for a pourable salad dressing. Want to kick it up a notch? Swap out the garlic powder for a few fresh garlic cloves for ‘Garlic Ranch,’ or how about a chipotle pepper in adobo sauce for a ‘Chipotle Ranch’ – the possibilities are endless.
Best of all, it can last for over a week in your refrigerator and the flavors actually meld together and get better over time.
